Holding of the Specialized Committee of the International Affairs Deputy (June 9, 2025)
The Specialized Committee meeting of the Deputy for International Affairs at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences was held on Saturday, June 8, 2025, to address the most important issues related to educational, research, and student affairs, with the presence of the Deputy for International Affairs, managers, and relevant experts.
According to the Public Relations Office of the International Affairs Deputy, the session took place on Saturday, June 8, 2025, with the participation of the International Affairs Deputy of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, along with the managers and related experts. At the beginning of the meeting, the appointment of Dr. Kazemi as the Director of Educational, Research, and Student Affairs of the International Affairs Deputy was congratulated, and the need for a precise definition of job descriptions as well as the strengthening of the research sector was emphasized.
Among the key resolutions of this session was the decision to fully digitize the archiving of documents and records of the deputy, which is considered a major step towards expediting and improving the accuracy of administrative processes. The committee also placed on its agenda the follow-up and resolution of problems faced by international students regarding SIM cards and health insurance.
In another part of the meeting, the issue of facilitating educational processes for international students was examined. It was decided that the e-exam system would be developed in a bilingual format (Persian-English) in order to offer better examination arrangements for non-Persian-speaking students. Additionally, it was resolved to seek feedback from the International Affairs Council regarding the regulations for enrolling new Iranian tuition-paying students.
In conclusion, the revision and update of the bylaws of the International Affairs Deputy, submitted for approval to the University Board of Directors, were approved. Other decisions taken include the regular holding of the Educational and Research Council meetings every two weeks and the follow-up on the financial status of students who have not attended the university. The session ended with an emphasis on continuous improvement of services provided to international students.
