Frequently Asked Questions for International Students

1. What is the language of instruction at the university? The main language of instruction in most programs is Persian. International students must attend Persian language courses if required. Some programs may be offered in English.

2. Is there an entrance exam for admission to MBBS or other programs?
    For most programs, admission is based on academic qualifications and academic records. Some programs or programs may require an academic interview or assessment test.

3. What are the required documents for enrollment?

 4.Is it possible to receive a scholarship?

 Currently, most international students are admitted on a tuition-paying basis. Scholarships are limited and are usually awarded to outstanding students or in the form of international agreements.

5. How are visa and residency matters handled?
   After receiving the final acceptance letter, the university issues a student visa code. After entering Iran, the student must go to the immigration police to obtain a student residency. These steps are carried out in coordination with the International Office.

6. Is health insurance required?
   Yes, all international students must have valid health or accident insurance. The university usually provides one-year student insurance.

7. Is there a student dormitory for international students?
   Yes, the university has dormitories specifically for international students that are provided with appropriate amenities.

8. How much is the tuition fee for the programs?
   Tuition fees vary based on the program, level, and academic year. The updated rates are published in the Announcements section of the International Office website.

9. Is it possible to work as a student?
   According to Iranian law, foreign students are not allowed to work full-time, but in some cases they can participate in research or educational projects with the permission of the university.
