First Recreational-Cultural Camp for International Students at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences
For the first time, international students at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences participated in a memorable recreational-cultural camp, visiting Ali Sadr Cave, the largest navigable water cave in the world, and the Nature Village Zoo. This event, aimed at boosting morale and familiarizing international students with the natural and tourist attractions of Iran, was met with significant enthusiasm from the students.
According to the Public Relations of the International Affairs Department, this recreational-cultural camp was organized on June 30, 2025, by the initiative of the International Affairs Department in collaboration with the Student-Cultural Affairs Department and the representative office of the Supreme Leader at the university. International students from various countries, who have come to Iran for their studies, had the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Ali Sadr Cave and the biodiversity of the Nature Village Zoo while getting acquainted with the culture and pristine nature of the Hamadan region.
Ali Sadr Cave, located 75 kilometers from Hamadan, is considered one of the most astonishing tourist attractions in Iran, with its water corridors and natural stalactites. Additionally, the Nature Village Zoo, with its natural environment and diverse animal species, provided an engaging experience for visitors. Students enjoyed boating in the cave and visiting the animals at the zoo, creating memorable moments.
This recreational-cultural camp, as the first special program for international students, represents an important step in strengthening the sense of belonging and solidarity of these students with the academic community and cultural environment of Iran. The International Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Student-Cultural Affairs Department and the representative office of the Supreme Leader, announced that similar programs will be organized in the future for international students to provide more opportunities for discovering the beauty of Iran.
