Graduation Ceremony of International MBBS Students at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences Held in the Presence of the Vice Chancellor for International Affairs
A graduation ceremony for international students of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences was held with the presence of the Vice Chancellor for International Affairs, along with university officials and faculty members. During the ceremony, a group of Iraqi MBBS students, after years of study and effort, successfully completed their academic program. The event symbolized the university’s international educational and cultural cooperation with other countries.
A graduation ceremony for international students of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences was held with the presence of the Vice Chancellor for International Affairs, along with university officials and faculty members. During the ceremony, a group of Iraqi MBBS students, after years of study and effort, successfully completed their academic program. The event symbolized the university’s international educational and cultural cooperation with other countries.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Vice Chancellery for International Affairs, the graduation ceremony for several international students of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences was held with the participation of Dr. Seyed Abedin Hoseini Ahangari, Vice Chancellor for International Affairs, as well as faculty members, international affairs officials, and students.
At the ceremony, Iraqi students of the MBBS program, following years of education, dedication, and perseverance, successfully completed their studies and officially graduated.
In his speech, Dr. Hoseini Ahangari congratulated the graduates and their families, stating that the presence of international students at the university reflects the international-oriented approach of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, which has been a pioneer not only in education but also in the development of scientific, cultural, and social interactions with other countries.
He added:
“International students are cultural ambassadors of their home countries in Iran, and the experience of several years of living and studying in our country can serve as a bridge for strengthening friendship among nations. Hamadan University of Medical Sciences is always prepared to expand its educational and research capacities to attract international students and to develop scientific cooperation with countries in the region.”
Following this, the Iraqi students expressed their appreciation to the professors, university staff, and the people of Hamadan for their sincere support and companionship, and shared memories from their years of study with the audience.
The ceremony concluded with the screening of video clips highlighting the students’ academic journey, the recitation of a prayer by one of the students, and the presentation of commemorative plaques, certificates of appreciation, and graduation certificates to the graduates.
