The public relations office of the International Vice-Chancellor, Director of Information, and the Head of the Central Library at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences announced in a letter that the university has been ranked between 1001 to 1200 out of 2875 evaluated institutions globally in the Times World Ranking system.

This achievement follows the university's recent placements in the Leiden and Shanghai ranking systems, attained through collaboration and diligent efforts from all relevant departments

The Times ranking system has evaluated and published a report on higher education institutions based on criteria such as teaching, research, research quality, industry, and international outlook for 2025. This assessment is conducted based on a self-assessment of institutions, English websites, and scientific publications in the Scopus database. According to this report, 80 universities from Iran are included in this ranking. Hamadan University of Medical Sciences has secured the 42nd position among domestic universities (Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education)
