International students of Hamedan University of Medical Sciences won a place in the 16th Science Olympiad of Iranian medical students in 1403
In the 16th Scientific Olympiad, Hamadan University of Medical Sciences students achieved 5 silver medals and 5 honorary diplomas.

The 16th Scientific Olympiad for medical students in the country took place in Tehran from September 17 to 21, as the Vice-Chancellor for International Affairs reported. 6,000 medical students from 64 universities and medical faculties participated in the competition, with approximately 500 students advancing to the final stage.
During the 16th Olympiad, a group of students from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences achieved success in the entrepreneurship category. The team included Mehdi Mirani, an international guest student studying dentistry, Hassan Zohrehvand, pursuing a specialized doctorate in medical engineering at Shahid Beheshti University; Nima Saneti, studying medicine. Mohammad Mahdi Najafi, studying dentistry, and international medical students Nikdad Akhwan Attar and Mobina Karimi. Together, they secured 5 silver medals in the competition.
Furthermore, Hamadan University of Medical Sciences secured a spot in the group section and received 5 diplomas of honor in the individual section. These were awarded to Mohammad Rahimi and Alireza Shah Taheri for their work in clinical reasoning, Roya Shafiei for her expertise in health system management as an international medical student, Maryam Sarhadhi for her contributions to medical education as an international medical student, and Seman Sadegh for her work in medical education.
